but, during the month of November people all around the world figure out that their lives aren't so bad... they figure out that everything they actually have a pretty decent life and they find out that they have a lot of things that they are grateful for and once a day for during the month they decide they will post one thing that they are grateful for. Well. today is that last day of that wonderful month and tomorrow I am guessing that people will again start the reign of complaining posts of Facebook.
My challenge to you wonderful people is DO NOT STOP POSTING WHAT YOU ARE GRATEFUL FOR!!! There is always something you can be grateful for. One thing that you could and definitely SHOULD be grateful for is something called The Atonement of Jesus Christ. This is something that is in effect ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. It is something that allows us to live worry free of many things that the world would have us believe to be scary, frightening and upsetting.
The Atonement is something that I am grateful for because I have FULL access to it, any time. There is nothing that will stop me from being able to use it. Another thing that I am so grateful for that only One person could give me. (Take a minute and put your hand on your face..........I'm serious don't keep reading until you do it.)
Yeah, that thing that you are able to do.... to touch your face. I am grateful that I have a physical body that allows me to feel pain, to feel warmth, light, to feel things, to breathe.
I am grateful for these things that we go through called trials. President Thomas S. Monson said this last October, "No one has ever lived on this earth free of pain and sorrow." This is something that I am so very grateful for because if it were not for our trials then we could not become like God. There would be NO WAY AT ALL that we could return to live with Him if we did not have trials and experiences that would allow us to learn.
When we take the time to realize everyday that we have so many things that we can be grateful for, we need to get off of Facebook, get down on our knees and then we need to pray, and Thank God for the things that he has given to us. We need to be constantly grateful and we need to thank The Lord for our afflictions.
We must always remember to
KEEP STRONG AND CARRY ON.
