What A Beautiful God

Have you ever looked up at the night sky and wondered, what is out there? Not just what scientists say is out there, not what they have studied for years and assume is out there but, what really is out there? Well I am here to tell you that I know for myself what is really out there and I can tell you that you can know too. The answer that I have is simple, yet profound a bold at the same time...... God....... Yes that's right. God. He is out there. He is in everything. He can see everything, know everything, hear everything, do everything and control everything in the worlds. Worlds? Yes Plural Worlds, God has created all of the planets and the stars in the firmament and the beast of the field and the fowls of the air and the fish of the sea and everything.

I was outside just the other night and stopped what I was doing for a minute. I looked up at the stars and asked my fellow missionary, Elder Anderson, "Do you ever wonder how God did all of this? How he created all of these beautiful things and did it all perfectly?" We sat there for a minute before we went inside our home and just looked in wonder and awe at Gods true beauty for a moment.

As I did this a Hymn came into my head that reads as follows: "When thru the woods, and forest glades I wander, and hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees, when I look down from lofty mountain grandeur, and hear the brook and feel the gently breeze, then sings my soul, my savior God to Thee, How great Thou art, How great Thou art." I felt the spirit so strongly as I played this little tune in my head. I reflected as well that night on a clip that I had seen on the MormonChannel by Elder Russell M. Nelson.

It really made me think about it, and realize that I am so very grateful to my God for all the beautiful things that he has created for me to see, hear, feel, taste, experience and enjoy. It helps me know that I truly am loved by our Father in Heaven. I know that He loves you too and hope that you can come to know of that knowledge for yourself.
